2. Mevlana Program:

Practical training at Arel University:

Arel Istanbul University pays great attention to practical training, believing in its importance in helping students by acquiring the practical experiences necessary to prepare them for the labor market, as the University provides its students with mandatory training programs in many disciplines and for the undergraduate and postgraduate stages.

1. College Training: compulsory training is available in the Faculties of Medicine, the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and in the Faculty of Fine Arts in the Department of Graphic Arts and Animation in addition to the Department of Culinary Arts.

2. Vocational school training: includes civil aviation and translation disciplines.

Sports events at Arel University:

Istanbul Arel University is aware of the importance of exercise and its role in supporting the healthy life of students and thus the possibility of students focusing on their studies and scientific excellence, so it was keen to establish many facilities within its university campuses, namely:

1. Kemal Gözükara Sports Center is located on the campus of Kemal Gözükara (formerly Tepekent) and features a fitness room, large swimming pool, gymnasium, chess room, table tennis courts, as well as a café and changing rooms for women and men.

2.  Nihat Yüceur Lounge on the Sefaköy campus features a playground with an amphitheater for 150 people, a cafeteria and changing rooms.

Arel University Campus:

The University consists of 3 campuses, all located in Istanbul, the European section, we will talk about each of them in detail:

1. Kemal Gözükara Campus: Formerly called Tepekent Campus, it was renamed Kemal Gözükara Campus in 2018 and it is located in Tepekent district, west of Büyükçekmece Lake, it was built on a closed area of 52.400 m2 and includes the educational building, which can accommodate the education of 7,500 students and consists of 300 smart classrooms and lecture halls of different capacities, in addition to many laboratories and research centers. It included a library, a conference hall, cafeterias, various sports areas, and student houses intertwined with nature, as stated by the university on its official website.

2.  Cevizlibağ Campus: It was established in the academic year 2019-2020 and has a total area of 15,000 m2 and includes the Faculty of Medicine, the College of Health Sciences and medical laboratories with an area of 2000 m2, as well as nutrition laboratories, physiotherapy laboratories, enzyme laboratories and many health laboratories equipped with the latest technological equipment.

3. Sefaköy Campus: Built on an area of 18.560 m² at a central point on the E5 highway in Kucukçekmece, it includes vocational institutes and schools and consist of 80 smart classrooms, 6 lecture halls, project rooms, radio and television studio in addition to many laboratories and workshops, as well as a library, conference hall and cafeteria.

Services on the campus of Arel University:

1. Health services: Istanbul Arel University considers the health of students, academics and employees one of the most important issues, so it has established health centers within the campus, which provide emergency services, treatment and preventive medicine, and health services are provided in the centers on campuses during weekdays and in student housing clinics 24 hours a day all days of the week.

2. Food Service Unit: 

It is responsible for following up the provision of food services in the cafeteria and dining halls of the campus in a healthy and high-quality manner in order to ensure the continuity of healthy life with adequate and balanced nutrition where hot meals are served within multiple options daily in the cafeteria on campus and hot meals that are crowned on campus are served according to national and international standards between 11:00 and 15:30. 

3. Student Clubs: 

The aim of activating and supporting these clubs is to enable students of Arel University to gain the necessary experience and skills to be able to integrate into working life after graduation, enable them to make decisions and work in a planned manner and create a sense of responsibility for them.

Arel University seeks to activate student clubs and support the establishment of new clubs to ensure that these activities reach all departments in faculties, vocational schools and institutes at Istanbul Arel University so that students can participate in all social, cultural, physical and mental activities more easily and frequently and increase their participation in these activities.
