2.    Experimental Animal Research Center:

It was established within the scope of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Near East University in accordance with the relevant articles of the "Animal Welfare Law" of the Republic of Turkey toCyprus The center started work in 2017 after the completion of the infrastructure preparation works The aim of the center is to provide education and training opportunities related to experimental applications as well as all scientific research and thesis studies within the university and other universities in the field of health sciences. Near East University was established in Nicosia, the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, in 1988 with the approval of the Council of Ministers based on the National Education Law No. 17/1986 issued by the Ministry of National Education, and this university is one  of the best private universities, which embraces more than 26 thousand students from different countries of the world.

Service facilities at Near East University:

With the aim of creating the required environment for an effective, active and high-quality university life where students and graduates integrate with the university and feel the support of the university in all fields in order to develop their cultural, social and professional personalities, many centers have been established that provide various services and these centers are:

1.    Student Orientation Center:

The purpose of this center is to facilitate the adaptation of new students to the university and the new environment and help them get acquainted with the university's facilities and units, through which the so-called "Student Welcome and Placement Program" is organized, and its activities are summarized in the establishment of information offices at ERCAN Airport  and in  various locations within the Near East University campus to help students in all  matters, in addition to that, small booklets are distributed that have been prepared so that new students can learn about all academic and general issues at the university.

Activities in this center begin in the week before the start of the academic year, a tour of the campus where students are introduced tothe administrative units, tours to different parts of Cyprus are organized, and information seminars are provided to students in order to help them adapt to their new environment more easily and quickly.

2.    Student Counseling and Communication Center:

This center helps students communicate their problems that stand in their way and prevent them from completing their academic obligations by sending them petitions via e-mail  petitions.neusd@gmail.com

Through this center, students are informed either by e-mail or face-to-face and are directed to the Office of the President of the University, Foreign Student Affairsor the Directorate of University Housing, according to the petitions that have been mentioned.

3.    Psychological Counseling Center:

Students who wish to receive consultations are directed to the Psychological Counseling Center (PDRAM) by communicating with the Counseling Center or to the Psychiatric Clinic of Near East University Hospital for Mental Disorders Requiring Hospitalization.

Students are provided with a counseling service that they can refer to in many issues such as stress, depression, anxiety, fear and difficulties adapting to university life and help the student to develop solutions and identify effective coping methodsby identifying the current problem and its causes with the psychological counselor and the main purpose of establishing this center is to help students adapt to new living conditions, improve their ability to deal with life problems and their positive views, and support them in producing alternative solutions and developing their ability.  In addition to the counseling services provided in this subject, psychotherapy is applied to students suffering from mental disorders.

4.    Center for Disabled Students:

Through it, the university seeks to make every effort to provide practical solutions to the problems of students with disabilities and help them in academic matters, where university students with disabilities are supported with services such as arranging additional private lessons, easy access to university facilities, and providing all possible assistance during exams, and this center works in cooperation with the Committee for the Monitoring of the Rights of the Disabled at the Near East University(EHIK).
